2015 FASHION WEEK MAKEUP

Now that New York Fashion Week has closed, we have a minute to reflect on the beauty looks that were sent down the runways. And, when it came to hair and makeup, things were all over the place—in the best way possible. We saw faces decorated with piercings, girls wearing absolutely no makeup, and plenty of second-day-like hair. Here are the trends that stood out for spring.

MINIMAL MAKEUP

We've been seeing the fresh-face look for some time now, but it hasn't necessarily been about using less makeup—only appearing as though you have. But this season, designers like Alexander Wang, Creatures of the Wind, and even Jenny Packham, pared down their makeup kits and used as few products as possible—and zero products, in Marc Jacobs' case (above). Refreshing, isn't it?
